kitchen, tile and trim!

We finally saw some progress today!  They started installing the kitchen cabinets (haven't seen our granite yet) and they also put up the doors and trim downstairs!  Upstairs the flooring guys were busy laying the tile in the master bathroom and hall bath.  Stonework still hasn't started....that has been a huge delay.  Apparently they are coming tomorrow.....I'll believe it when I see it!  Here are some pictures we took.

    The kids must be so excited to walk through the house. Cabinets and tile looks great!

    I bet those kids have a BLAST in there, I know it!! LOL..Its Friday!! yeah, long weekend.

    So it's looking just like the model, soo big and love your tile choice, tell your hubby to think about the access panel for the tub and if he wants it right upfront??

    Lol! Sometimes they have a little too much fun! I would love to move the access panel but our tub butts up against the wall (toilet room on other side). Not sure where they could put the access panel aside from inside the shower? Thanks for the kind words!!! Your house looks sooo different now that you have your transom in!! Love it! It really makes a big difference!!

      Yup the transom does make a HUGE diff, thanks.

      You could always put the panel in the water closet??? In the wall? right? maybe? Maybe not??...lol

      BTW you did get a slate fireplace, we did too, and we got black granite so I wasnt sure if it was a mistake, but now I know it was, they do still offer slate and we got upgraded by mistake............i'll take it...

      But I still love the SLATE!!
