Thank you! The curtains were from our old house. Luckily they worked in our new house too! Just had to buy new rods. Saved us some money! We bought them online from JC Penny a few years ago!
You don't know how excited I was to see this!! There are almost no Oakmont blogs out there and I desperately want to see how everyone else is setting up the family room and morning room. Everything looks great so far - the curtains do go really well - good save! Curious as to why your microwave is where it is - was it something with your stove that it couldn't be above it or was that a choice we had that I just don't remember making, hahaha.
My husband wanted the microwave closer to the refrigerator since we mainly take food out of fridge and put it into the microwave. Just personal preference! I agree- there aren't any Oakmont blogs out there!!! Your house is coming along! Almost there!!!
Is the "lake" for retaining water? We are considering a lot like that with the "pond" or "creek" for runoff water. How do you feel about that after living there a while? What are your feelings about doing a Ryan home more that a year later?
