Roof is on!
Wow! Lots of progress! Today they put the shingles on the roof and poured the basement/garage! It looks great! Yesterday they put the trim work around the bay window. HVAC is coming this week and the insulation will be completed as well. I believe the plumbers and electricians will start either Friday or beginning of next week! Here's some pictures that we took!

Look at that shiny new house! Its been so quiet though up here on the hill...its Sunday AM and not banging going on down there...I guess all the loud stuff is done!!

Ah! A nice quiet break for you and the rest of the neighborhood! They will be starting up again tomorrow- but hopefully the plumbers and electricians aren't as loud as the framers! I noticed them starting another house last week. They started digging the hole. That "skylight" is coming along nicely!!!! Haha!!

ReplyDeleteYeah, I've noticed they don't do anything to hide the utilitarian yuck of the electric boxes on anyone's home, but when everything's finished and you get a little extra landscaping (maybe some sky pencils) it will be fine :)
That's what we are hoping... But it is located over cement and its impossible to plant anything... May be able to cover it from front if house. To make matters worse our light will be right above it shining down on it screaming "here's the electrical box!" Ugh
